To date, 1,061 affordable-housing initiatives
have been approved for funding through the Federal
Home Loan Bank of Boston's Affordable Housing Program
(AHP). In 2016, the Bank allocated $29.5 million in grants and subsidies for advances, or loans, to support affordable housing.
Since the program's inception in 1990,
the Bank has committed more than $506 million
to fund more than 28,900 units of affordable-housing in the region.
